The Greatest Show on Earth

We just returned from a full weekend at the 50th annual NYC Antiquarian Book Fair, which has been called the greatest book fair in the world. From Forbes magazine:

For true lovers of the printed page, it's the greatest show on earth. There were 200 dealers with bound wares in literature, history, food, the performing and fine arts, law, philosophy and children's books—to say nothing of maps, manuscripts, autographs and ephemera. Sponsored by the Antiquarian Booksellers' Association of America (http://hq.abaa.org/), the show is a great place to gawk, maybe to hold something rare and exquisite in your hands.

It was a great experience and there's a good review of it here and another one in Forbes as well. It was so busy, I didn't get a chance to take out my camera to the very end, but here are a few shots.
