Favorite Foto Friday - Spirals

I'm not exactly sure why, but I've been extremely drawn to any photos with spirals in them lately. There is always seems to be something so alluring, and yet primal, to the spiral shape. In some ways it makes me think of the infinite. Anyway, I hope you enjoy these beautiful images today.

    ooh these make me dizzy with happiness! the are so cool! it reminds me of a lighthouse i visited in oregon-where the stairs just went up and up in a spiral. the view from the top was gorgeous, but what was really breath-taking was the view from the bottom of the inside of the lighthouse. all those stairs swirling up into the sky!

    what a pretty post with such lovely pictures. i agree with you in the thought of "infinite"
    this post reminds me of a spiral staircase that my grandparents used to have in their home. i always thought they were so pretty!

    These are absolutely gorgeous! That spiral staircase is amazing. I love that spirals kind of echo maybe what we see in nature (fiddlehead ferns, snailshells, fingerprint whorls :))? They're utterly mesmerizing - magic.
