Peonies and Poppies

Memorial day weekend means a buzz of activity here in Vermont. Even though summer doesn't officially start for another month, this weekend really marks the beginning of summer for us. Everyone was out this morning at the farmer's markets, going to yard sales, and having backyard picnics. We're heading out to dinner with some friends in a minute as well, but I thought I'd take a moment to post some lovely pictures of some flowers out in my garden right now.. peonies and poppies. Aren't they gorgeous?
